LESSONS
Lessons are undertaken by our British Horse Society qualified, experienced, friendly Instructors. Our senior Instructors are on the BHS Accredited Professional Coaching Register.
Lessons are held in one of our three well maintained outdoor menages. We welome all levels of rider from beginner to advanced and we have horses to suit all levels and types of rider. We cater for ages 5 years old upwards, with no upper age limit. Riders are grouped together based on age and experience. We keep our groups to a maximum of 6 riders so that we can maintain our high teaching standards.
We are a wonderful, friendly, sociable Riding School, encouraging people to take up horse riding and find out what they are missing!
Group Lessons
Private Lessons
Group lessons run throughout the week and across the weekend with classes to suit every rider.
Our group lessons are instructional, challenging and above all fun!
Group lessons are a wonderful way to learn and enable different learning styles. They are wonderfully sociable and our group riders have a great sense of camaraderie. They encourage and support each other which ensures a positive learning environment.
Private lessons can be beneficial for all riders.
They allow more experienced riders to hone their skills and target areas of weakness for improvement.
In addition, they can benefit our newer riders by providing a 1-2-1 approach and allowing the rider time to absorb their learning and ask questions at their own pace.
Lead Rein Lessons
Lead rein lessons are for our junior riders, age 5 years upwards.
They offer a safe introduction to riding and allow them to safely progress up to riding independently.
Riders are paired up with a 'buddy', a member of staff who stays with them for the duration of their lesson and helps them to understand and carry out instructions given by their Instructor.
